OK so I finally caved... the new BlackBerry
Who knew there were so many ways people could reach me in the grocery store or whle I'm getting a haircut...
I have learned how to do two very important things with this new phone...
1 - turn off the noises
2 - lay it face down so I can't see the icons popping up showing me I have some type of correspondence

Tha Saga of Kym's Cards
So my friend Kym is very particular about her Christmas cards. They have to be designed just *so* and made the same way.
...in walks Jess...
I think we all know that I have a more "get 'er done" attitude... so this year I took charge! (at least I thought I did...)
I forced her to make a standard size card (to find envelopes easily) and forced her hand on a flat card (regular postage)... but somehow she managed to cajole us into a bunch of extra steps just the same! Her love of distressing and all things vintage get the best of us...
BUT the good news is, we finished yesterday... one hundred of these gorgeous cards all made and ready to send...

Christmas Card Time!!!
OK so I still make all my Christmas cards. And I have left EVERYONE on the list year after year... sending out cards and expecting nothing in return...
OK TOTALLY a lie... I *so* wish more people still sent Christmas cards! I LOVE Christmas mail, and especially when we get photos of family and friends and maybe even the occasional annual letter!
This is my stack before I hit the post office...

I think I sent around 60 this year... and I made a few extra to hand out to teachers and send to stragglers (in case I missed anyone!)
I'd love to see your stack of cards or hear about how many you make vs how many you receive in return... (just out of curiosity haha)

Hawaii Recap
So Britt was invited to go to hawaii for two weeks with this guy...
For those of you who don't know... that's actually my Dad under all that facial hair... (which I think they talked him into leaving in Maui???)
She spent most of her time with her Auntie Jen (my sister)...
I think this is when they climbed a mountain? I remember seeing an elevation sign at some point... (I bet you all wish she was doing the update and not me huh?) ha ha ha

It was a long two weeks but a fantastic experience for her! Wonder where they will go next???

Project 12 - September and October
I think I better get these up before we start into all the December Daily goodness...
The highlight of September was our trip to the GuZoo at Three Hills... my kids still love farm animals...

October was a busy riding month! We had our Fundraiser in Alix, and then rode our track at home the rest of the month. Todd Heemsbergen came out from Texas and brought Josh a new 2011 KTM 65 which he was very happy to see! Britt left for Hawaii too (no photos tho... my bad) and for Halloween the boys dressed up as... you guessed it... Motocross Pros!

December 1st!
Well it's time to start the December Daily. I will commit (again) to take a photo to document every day this month... I will commit (again) to scrap it in my December Daily album... I will not, however, commit to blog about it every day!
With our planned trip to California I'm not sure that we will be able to document any of the things we traditionally do over the holidays, but it will be interesting nonetheless!
I'll update here as we go... here and there... on a whim... just like always!
