Easter at the RV Park!

I know I'm late but I wanted to share our Easter egg hunt photos! We were staying at a concrete RV park in Arlington TX, so our options were pretty limited!

We managed to hide the eggs in the little park on site and the kids had a great time racing around finding them!

Just my luck Britt's eggs matched her new shoes... LOL

If I was a better blogger I'd fix up all the photos and make them pretty before posting them but alas... I'm not! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend too!

Crop for Kids Album

I made this album for a class I taught at Crop 4 Kids. It's a fabulous canvas pocket album from Maya Road... and it was so much fun to make and to teach!

I think I'm going to go ahead and make another for the summers of 2008 and 2009 while I'm at it!

Photo strips!

I wanted to share the layout I did for my April Challenge at Scrapshotz. Lorraine and my sister Jen and I did some sightseeing while we were in Kitchener last spring... and had these photos taken. It was a great day!

Well I did warn you about the blog posts or lack thereof... where shall I start???

How about a little recap of our field trip in South Dakota? I took the kids to see Mount Rushmore and it was just as impressive as I remember!

I snapped this just as we were walking up... pictures never seem to do it justice...

The kids were totally amazed (and glad that I had drug them there). They spent a long time just sitting on the wall looking at the mountain.

The most amazing part of the entire adventure is that by the time we left Noah had memorized all the names of the Presidents and why they had been included on the mountain. What a little patriot (of the wrong country but hey, let's not get picky!)

Josh loves George Washington and wanted to be included on the mountain as well...

We weren't able to walk or ride any closer because of the snow storm earlier that week so we totally plan to go back again!
